Proof of concept of a track and communicate system

THE CHALLENGE

Implement a proof of concept system that tracks the position, alarms and custom events of several mobile units and enables operators to communicate with them and provide assistance.

OUR SOLUTION

  • We created a report detailing the available technology in the consumer electronics segment for position tracking and a concept for achieving a redundant communication system.
  • Based on this  report we implemented a 3-tier application: a mobile device application, a web service and a desktop interface for the operators.
  • We supported Thales to present the solutions at the Homeland and Security days in Oensingen
